At Exoticpetcoltd, we prioritize the health and safety of all animals we deliver. Please read our shipping policy carefully before placing your order.
1. Live Animal Shipping
We ship only healthy, legally permitted exotic animals using reliable, USDA-certified carriers that specialize in live animal, animal bones and tusks, animal skins, and animal feeds transportation. Our current shipping partners include [e.g., Delta Cargo, FedEx Live Animal Express, Reptiles2You].
- Shipping Days: Monday through Thursdays only (to avoid weekend delays).
- Cutoff Time: Orders placed after 12 PM (local time) on Thursday will ship the following week.
- Delivery Timeframe: Overnight or same-day air, depending on the destination and animal species.
2. Shipping Availability
We currently ship to U.S. states where ownership of the ordered species is legal. It is the buyer’s responsibility to check local and state laws before purchasing.
We do not ship to:
- Hawaii, Alaska, or U.S. Territories (e.g., Puerto Rico)
- Europe, Oceania, Asia, Africa and South America
3. Weather and Safety Delays
Animal health is our priority. We reserve the right to delay shipping due to:
- Severe weather conditions
- Airline issues
- Holidays or high-volume periods
You will be contacted to reschedule your delivery.
4. Live Arrival Guarantee
We offer a Live Arrival Guarantee if:
- Someone is present to receive the animal on the first delivery attempt
- You notify us of any issues within 1 hour of delivery, including clear photos/video
- All shipping requirements have been followed
Guarantee is void if:
- No one is available at the delivery address
- Incorrect address is provided
- Local or state laws are violated
5. Packaging
All animals are shipped in climate-controlled, insulated containers with heat/cool packs as needed. We follow USDA guidelines for safe transport.
6. Shipping Fees
- Flat Rate (Live Animals): $XX–$XX depending on species and carrier
- Supplies & Non-live Products: Standard USPS, UPS, or FedEx rates
- Shipping fees are non-refundable unless an error was made on our end.
7. Damaged or Delayed Shipments
If you experience delays or damage due to the carrier, please contact us immediately. We will work with the carrier to investigate and resolve the issue, though reimbursement is not guaranteed outside our Live Arrival Policy.
